Two years ago, fresh out of university, I embarked on my journey with Seymour as a Category Range Analyst. I had lots of hands on training from my team and it didn’t take me long to settle into the role. My day-to-day is a mixture of spreadsheet work and using analysis-based software to help decision-making across our trading team. It’s great and really rewarding to see my work being used to get some of our titles into more stores at the biggest retailers in the UK.

At Seymour, there’s a strong emphasis on personal development, which is particularly beneficial for newcomers like myself who have transitioned from university to the workforce. During my 2 years at Seymour,  I’ve already completed the data internship programme and a few other workshops which have given me new skills and taken me out of my comfort zone. Looking ahead, I’m excited to showcase these new skills for wider project and take on additional responsibilities so I can continue to grow professionally and pick up as much as I can about the wider Retail environment.
