The Frontline Group celebrated Black History Month 2023.
The theme this year was celebrating our sisters with the main aim to highlight and celebrate the crucial role black women have played in shaping our history, building our communities and inspiring change. This was delivered in a variety of ways including video briefs, interactive informative posters both digital and decorative. Cooking challenge plus a very informative and insightful podcast with our Frontline colleagues.
A great chance to bring everyone together to enjoy Jamaican patties, Ginger Cake and Rum punch too!
Liaising with www.blackhistorymonth.org and some of our publishing partners we sourced copies of the official Black History Month magazine and BBC History Revealed so that everyone who took part could take away some additional great resources.
