Staff interview at Frontline Group

Name: Dan Kelleher

Current Role: International Bookazine & Territory Marketing Manager

Joined Seymour / Frontline: October 2018

I Joined Seymour back in October 2018 and the past six years have flown by! In my current role every day is completely different which ensures it’s always interesting. It’s a varied role which means depending on what is happening around the world as any given point can decide the priorities for the day, but it challenges me to think and adapt to what is in front of me which keeps it exciting.

The role is split between territory management where I aim the lead day to day point of contact across the group in key trading markets of Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The other half of my time is spent developing Bookazines or one-shots working alongside both existing newsstand publishers and non-traditional publishers where the primary goal is unlocking and maximising additional value from the content they already have produced. The role itself is heavily commercial, creative and sociable which is the perfect blend for me personally and allows me to work alongside the talented individuals we have across the group.

Since joining back in 2018 countless opportunities have been offered to develop within the organisation and personally through training and workshops which has allowed me to continue to learn and develop into my current position, it may sound cliché but if you work hard within the group then they will work equally as hard to help you develop as much as they can.
